Osteoarthritis Treatment Case Study

This case study examines the treatment of osteoarthritis in a 65-year-old female patient. The patient reported joint pain and stiffness, significantly affecting her daily activities.

The patient had a history of joint issues and was overweight. Initial assessments indicated the need for a multifaceted treatment approach.

Intervention

The treatment plan included physical therapy, weight management, and the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Conclusion

After six months, the patient experienced reduced pain and improved mobility, demonstrating the effectiveness of a comprehensive treatment plan for osteoarthritis.
