Exploring effective treatment options for hypertension.
October 2, 2023
This case study examines the treatment of hypertension in a 60-year-old male patient. The patient presented with consistently high blood pressure readings and was at risk for cardiovascular complications.
The patient had a sedentary lifestyle and a high-sodium diet. Initial evaluations indicated a need for immediate intervention.
The treatment plan included lifestyle modifications, such as dietary changes to reduce sodium intake, increased physical activity, and the prescription of antihypertensive medication.
After three months, the patient showed a significant reduction in blood pressure, highlighting the importance of lifestyle changes in managing hypertension.
