Asthma Control Case Study

This case study focuses on a 30-year-old female patient with moderate persistent asthma. The patient experienced frequent exacerbations and required a comprehensive management plan.

Patient History

The patient had a history of allergic rhinitis and was exposed to environmental triggers. Initial assessments revealed the need for better control of asthma symptoms.

Intervention

The management plan included the use of inhaled corticosteroids, a rescue inhaler, and education on avoiding triggers.

Conclusion

Over a six-month period, the patient reported fewer asthma attacks and improved quality of life, demonstrating the effectiveness of a tailored asthma management plan.
